About McCallum Speech & Debate

  

  

The McCallum Speech & Debate program was founded three years ago to train students to communicate ideas clearly using logic and strong evidence. Debating teaches students important life skills to make better decisions and build plans of action. Whether it’s a business decision or a political one, debate is an important tool.

The team has grown rapidly. It now sends debate teams to tournaments around Texas and occasionally across the nation.

Anyone is welcome to join the Debate and Speech club, however McCallum also offers the following Elective courses:
